KP Events, Inc. provides full-service planning and management services for equestrian events in the United States. Working from the heart of beautiful San Diego horse country, KP Events designs and delivers world-class Dressage competitions, as well as symposiums, training clinics, and parties. Services include all aspects of show management including sponsor development, judge solicitation and accommodation, rider outreach, facilities preparation and decor, stall charts, ride schedules, electronic scoring, entertainment, auctions, booth locations, signage, media, and event promotion.
KP Events specializes in event management in Southern California, but can be retained for work in other locations. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your event needs here or in other regions and are happy to work together with local organizations.
Current event experience includes 2003 Ulla Salzgeber Clinic in Encinitas for 150+ guests, 2003 IMAX Private Screening and Party for 300+ guests, 2004 to present Dressage Affaire Show at Del Mar Horsepark, 2002 to present CDS San Diego Series Shows at Del Mar Horsepark.
Kim provides show direction, sponsorship development and community relations. She is responsible for the overall management of KP Events, Inc. shows including “The Dressage Affaire” and the newly USEF and FEI approved “The Del Mar Classic.” A life-long dressage rider and trainer, she has been providing show management and consulting for the last four years to the California Dressage Society-San Diego Chapter.
Kim combines her passion for creating an exceptional equestrian experience with visual and spatial design expertise.
Nikki provides senior business direction for KP Events, Inc. and manages the logistics and execution of KP Events shows. She is responsible for assembling and coordinating the blended teams of professionals, technology platforms, and volunteers necessary to bring world-class dressage events to life.
Nikki, a native Californian has been a volunteer with the California Dressage Society-San Diego Chapter since 2002. As a child, she entered the competitive arena as a barrel racer and Western Equitation rider moving into 3-Day Eventing and eventually becoming a dressage enthusiast.
